Jonathan and Megan are the sweet souls of this beautiful engagement session at Vickery Creek Falls Roswell Mill. The first time I met these two was with Megans family in December to go over wedding details for what is going to be a beautiful wedding in Destin, Florida this October. I absolutely cannot wait for their wedding on the Bay! Megans mom, Carmen, texted me a couple of weeks ago and let me know that Megan was recently diagnosed with MS (Multiple Sclerosis) and it made me even more excited for these engagement pictures because we both knew it would be a perfect day to take her mind off of everything that has been going on lately with her diagnosis. Megan is such an warm-hearted and positive woman and I know she is going to take on this diagnosis with the most uplifting attitude and it truly makes you realize how precious life is and how important it is to surround yourself with people who lift you up, care deeply for you and allow you to care deeply for them. I could truly see the passion and endearment between Jonathan and Megan at their engagement session and how sweetly he cares for her. They brought along their sweet puppers that complete their little family as we explored the park and took in the sunshine, which was a nice break in all this rain we have had lately! Check out all of their love and sweetness below.

It's a funny story how I met these two. I was standing in line at Petco when I met Allen and he was so handsome that I gave him my information to set up a modeling shoot with me to build his portfolio. About two or three weeks went by when I received a text message from his fiancée, Laura.
Allen and Laura have been together for 10 years, they met in college while he was playing football and got engaged three years later. If you did that math right then that is a seven year engagement, it was high time they finally took their engagement pictures and I am so happy that they chose me to share that afternoon with. When I was editing these pictures I couldn't help but smile because the love between them truly showed throughout every picture. Hello there my lovelies! I am so sorry I haven't been on the blog lately, I don't know what got into me but blogging was just not something I wanted to do and I think it had everything to do with moving, getting settled in Atlanta, getting a new schedule down with the photography and my daytime job. It take a lot of coordination to keep up with one schedule and let alone two and the schedules of all my clients, but I certainly wouldn't have it any other way. If I'm not super busy then you'll catch me on the couch watching a full day of bridal shows ;)
I have re-committed myself to blogging again and sharing the stories of the people I photograph. I get the opportunity to meet so many amazing people in this profession and I love showing others how amazing these people are. Up on the blog probably Wednesday will be an amazing Engagement Session of a beautiful couple in Piedmont Park. I will get to their story then, have a wonderful day and remember to keep smiling! |
